Derby Portrait Photographer Offers New Approach To Perfect Wedding Memories
With the wedding season upon us, Derby’s The Perfect Image launches a Wedding Photography service with a difference, geared towards putting the happy couple at ease throughout every stage of their special event.
As one of Derby’s leading Portrait Photographers, weddings are one of the company’s specialities and business owner Lucy Perfect has implemented a special, personal approach to what can be a very impersonal element of a wedding.
Lucy explains: “Firstly, we give our wedding clients a free shoot at the studio, something we find puts them at ease and helps to build their confidence for the wedding itself, a time when having their photographs taken can be somewhat distracting”. This first shoot is something that Lucy classes as a coaching session, with feedback from their clients being positive, reporting how confident they feel in advance of the big day. “As most people are self conscious about having their picture taken, this session really helps them to enjoy their wedding more and produces more natural and flattering pictures on the big day”, added Lucy.
As well as wedding photography, the Derby business has also been working with a number of respectable charities and companies around the area, putting their commercial photography skills to practice. Working for NHS HIEC, The Perfect Image has produced corporate headshots for their website. The company has also recently produced publicity shots for Riley Wealth Management.
Lucy also likes to work for local charities when the opportunity arises and has provided her services free of charge to the Liberty Rose Trust, a charity that raises awareness for children with braid tumours and raises money for hospitals.

The velocette roarer
while we’ll be the first to admit that we know absolutely nothing about bikes, while out the other day we got the rare opportunity to take a picture of the velocette roarer, we thought we’d post this up for any bike enthusiasts out there. it’s from 1939 and the only one in existence. a very famous bike by all accounts, so if you like your motorbikes, Enjoy!
